We are a vital, friendly, and loving Christian fellowship. We are from all walks of life, and we gather to worship and serve God in the spirit of Jesus Christ. With many ministries, we are deeply involved in the life of our surrounding community and Young Harris College.

If you are looking for an active and vibrant fellowship, we invite you to join us each Sunday at 8:30 A.M. or 11:00 A.M. for worship as well as for Sunday School at 9:45 A.M. Share the warmth of a friendly welcome, hear the Word of God preached, sing hymns of faith, and feel refreshed and renewed by God’s presence throughout the service.

At Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church our Focus is to: Witness, Teach and Serve.

Upcoming in Lent
The Christian season of Lent begins this month.  Lent is the season of the Christian Year that encourages us to focus on sin and its negative effect in our lives – and the world.  It is a time to examine ourselves honestly in the light of the Cross of Christ and to repent of our sins.  It lasts a little over six weeks.  During this time we will have various events and activities to aid us in our walk with Christ.

Lenten Worship and Lunch
For five weeks in Lent we will have a short midweek worship of about 30 minutes in length. This will feature hymns a prayer and a short message given by one of our Sunday School teachers.  Afterwards we will go into the Fellowship Hall for a simple lunch hosted by one of the United Methodist Women circles or the Sharp Men.
