Sharp Memorial is a congregation of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. The introduction to the United Methodist Book of Worship gives a basic overview of the goal of worship at Sharp Memorial. "The basic pattern of worship is rooted in Scripture and in our United Methodist heritage and experience. Our worship...is an encounter with the living God through the risen Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit."

Sharp Memorial is blessed with a competent staff who lead in a variety of ministries: music (adult and children), education (all ages), youth and children's activities, and a variety of local and conference supportive ministries.

Sharp Memorial is also blessed with a strong involvement of lay leadership. Sharp is a Stephen Ministry congregation, provides support for mission involvement (local and conference-sponsored), and has active UMW (United Methodist Women) and UMM (United Methodist Men) groups. Sharp also provides support to ministries that "feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and strengthen the weak."

Guest worshipers are always welcome at Sharp. Please come and worship with us this Sunday! Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM.

Two worship services are held each Sunday morning, one at 8:30 AM and the other at 10:55 AM. Our United Methodist Youth Fellowship meets at 6:00 on Sunday evenings. Come and experience open doors, open minds, and open hearts of the United Methodist Church at Sharp Memorial!
