The Sharp Memorial prayer ministry was established to bring about an awareness of the importance of prayer and to encourage you to grow in your prayer life. We believe that prayer is central to the life of the church and for every Christian. We invite you to come here often as we suggest ways to help you learn more about prayer, develop a prayer discipline, and walk closer to God.

Do you need prayers for yourself, a loved one, or a friend? If so, choose the prayer request method that works best for you:

• Call our dedicated prayer line, 706 379-1570, and leave a message. A member of our Prayer Team will receive the message and pray in confidence if you wish.

• Complete a Prayer Request card that you will find in the pews. Place it in the offering plate or take it to the church office. The card will be collected by a Stephen Minister, who will honor your request.

Your prayer concerns are important to us and to God, and we promise they will be handled with the utmost care. We promise to lift each person to God by name and need. Because we respect your privacy, we also promise to keep your concerns and personal information confidential. [From Guideposts]
