PROGRAMS

No matter what your age or level of ability, a place exist for you in our music ministry. Music programs are listed below, but the opportunities for service go beyond just music; organizers, publicity people, sound-system operators, choir-moms, dramatists, artists, dancers, carpenters, Arts/Bible story leaders, etc.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m.

The Chancel Choir serves as the Worship Choir for the 10:55 A. M. service and presents special concerts and programs during special seasons of the year.

Children and Youth Music Ministries

The music programs offered at Sharp Memorial endeavor to find and nurture the talents of our youth (7^th – 12^th grade) and children (K – 6^th grade), so that they may use these talents in lifelong service to the Lord.

Currently Sharp Memorial has a Children’s Choir which meets at 4:00 P. M. on Sunday and a Youth Choir that meets at 4:45 P. M. also on Sunday. Also, offered is a combined age (4^th grade – 12^th grades) Chime Choir that meets at 5:15 p.m. following Youth Choir. These groups lead in worship regularly and present special programs throughout the year.

According to the specific talents within our music ministry, singing and instrumental ensembles are put together on a regular basis and perform at the 8:30 A. M. services on Sunday and on other special occasions. These groups meet at times convenient for the members. Anyone interested in small-group opportunities should contact the Director of Music.
