Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 P.M. and on Sunday mornings at 9:15 A.M. The Chancel Choir serves as the Worship Choir for the 11:00 A. M.
service. Ensembles
We have a number of music ensembles at Sharp, including the Sharp Sisters and the Sharp Tones. These groups, as well as other ensembles, provide special music for both worship services, as well as other events at the church. The Sharp Tones performs regularly at our Wonderful Wednesday dinners. The Sharp Sisters visit Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee on a regular basis and perform for the residents. Anyone interested in joining our Chancel Choir or participating in our ensembles should contact Pam Leslie, our Director of Music.
Special Music
Individuals regularly perform vocal and instrumental music during church services.
Children and Youth Music Ministries
The music programs offered at Sharp Memorial endeavor to find and nurture the talents of our youth (7th – 12th grades) so that they may use these talents in lifelong service to the Lord.
A Chime Choir meets the 1st Sunday of the month during Youth Fellowship, which meets immediately after the 11:00 A.M. service. They present their music in worship services on a regular basis. |
